Terms of Service

These terms apply when you book a seat on a boat trip through WataSeat — whether via a WhatsApp message, a booking link, or our checkout pages. By completing a booking you agree to them.
1. Who we are
WataSeat is a booking platform operated by Sea Seat Share FZE, Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park, UAE. WataSeat connects guests with independent boat captains and handles booking and payment. The captain is the provider of the trip itself — WataSeat does not operate boats or trips.
2. How booking works
- When you book, your card is authorized, not charged. Stripe places a temporary hold for the booking amount.
- Your card is only charged when the trip reaches its minimum number of confirmed seats.
- If the trip does not reach its minimum, the trip is cancelled and the hold on your card is released — you pay nothing.
- Card holds expire after several days. For trips further in the future you may receive a WhatsApp message asking you to renew your authorization to keep your seat.
3. Cancellations and refunds
All bookings are final. Guests cannot cancel a booking, and no refunds are given for guest cancellations or no-shows.
- If the captain cancels the trip — for any reason, including weather or safety — you receive a full refund: charged amounts are refunded in full, and unreleased holds are released.
- If the trip never reaches its minimum, your card is never charged and the hold is released automatically.

4. Prices and fees
The price shown at booking is the total you pay — guests pay no extra fees. WataSeat retains a platform fee (currently 10%) from the trip price; the rest goes to the captain. The fee never changes what you pay. All amounts are in UAE dirhams (AED).
5. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch WataSeat's systems.
6. Your responsibilities
- Arrive at the meeting point on time. Missing the departure counts as a no-show and is not refundable.
- Follow the captain's safety instructions at all times.
- Provide an accurate WhatsApp number at checkout — it is how we send your booking confirmation and trip updates.
7. The captain's responsibilities
The captain is responsible for the trip: the vessel, licensing, safety equipment, crew, and conduct of the trip. Any claims related to the trip itself are between you and the captain.
8. Booking records
Your booking confirmation and the WhatsApp messages exchanged with WataSeat form the record of your booking and your agreement to these terms, including in the event of a payment dispute.
9. Liability
WataSeat provides the booking platform "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, Sea Seat Share FZE is not liable for the acts or omissions of captains or guests, or for events occurring during a trip.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.

تسري هذه الشروط عند حجز مقعد في رحلة بحرية عبر واتاسيت — سواء من خلال رسالة واتساب أو رابط حجز أو صفحات الدفع الخاصة بنا. بإتمام الحجز فإنك توافق على هذه الشروط.
1. من نحن
واتاسيت منصة حجوزات تُشغّلها شركة Sea Seat Share FZE، مجمع الشارقة للبحوث والتكنولوجيا والابتكار، الإمارات العربية المتحدة. تربط واتاسيت الضيوف بقباطنة القوارب المستقلين وتتولى الحجز والدفع. القبطان هو مقدّم الرحلة نفسها — واتاسيت لا تُشغّل قوارب ولا رحلات.
2. كيف يعمل الحجز
- عند الحجز يتم حجز المبلغ على بطاقتك دون خصمه. تضع Stripe حجزاً مؤقتاً بقيمة الحجز.
- لا يُخصم المبلغ من بطاقتك إلا عند اكتمال الحد الأدنى من المقاعد المؤكدة للرحلة.
- إذا لم تبلغ الرحلة حدها الأدنى، تُلغى الرحلة ويُرفع الحجز عن بطاقتك — لا تدفع شيئاً.
- تنتهي صلاحية حجوزات البطاقات بعد عدة أيام. للرحلات الأبعد موعداً، قد تصلك رسالة واتساب تطلب تجديد تفويض بطاقتك للحفاظ على مقعدك.
3. الإلغاء والاسترداد
جميع الحجوزات نهائية. لا يمكن للضيف إلغاء الحجز، ولا تُسترد المبالغ في حال إلغاء الضيف أو عدم حضوره.
- إذا ألغى القبطان الرحلة — لأي سبب، بما في ذلك الأحوال الجوية أو السلامة — تسترد كامل المبلغ: تُعاد المبالغ المخصومة بالكامل، وتُرفع الحجوزات غير المخصومة.
- إذا لم تبلغ الرحلة حدها الأدنى، لا يُخصم من بطاقتك شيء ويُرفع الحجز تلقائياً.

4. الأسعار والرسوم
السعر المعروض عند الحجز هو إجمالي ما تدفعه — لا يتحمل الضيف أي رسوم إضافية. تحتفظ واتاسيت بعمولة منصة (حالياً 10%) من سعر الرحلة، ويذهب الباقي إلى القبطان. لا تؤثر العمولة على ما تدفعه. جميع المبالغ بالدرهم الإماراتي.
5. المدفوعات
تُعالج المدفوعات عبر Stripe. تذهب بيانات بطاقتك مباشرة إلى Stripe ولا تمر عبر أنظمة واتاسيت إطلاقاً.
6. مسؤولياتك
- الحضور إلى نقطة التجمع في الموعد المحدد. التخلف عن موعد الانطلاق يُعد عدم حضور ولا يُسترد مقابله أي مبلغ.
- الالتزام بتعليمات السلامة الصادرة عن القبطان في جميع الأوقات.
- إدخال رقم واتساب صحيح عند الدفع — فهو وسيلتنا لإرسال تأكيد الحجز وتحديثات الرحلة.
7. مسؤوليات القبطان
القبطان مسؤول عن الرحلة: القارب، والتراخيص، ومعدات السلامة، والطاقم، وسير الرحلة. أي مطالبات تتعلق بالرحلة نفسها تكون بينك وبين القبطان.
8. سجلات الحجز
يُشكّل تأكيد الحجز ورسائل واتساب المتبادلة مع واتاسيت سجلّ حجزك وموافقتك على هذه الشروط، بما في ذلك في حال وجود نزاع على الدفع.
9. المسؤولية
توفر واتاسيت منصة الحجز «كما هي». وإلى الحد الأقصى الذي يسمح به قانون دولة الإمارات، لا تتحمل شركة Sea Seat Share FZE المسؤولية عن أفعال أو تقصير القباطنة أو الضيوف، أو عن الأحداث التي تقع أثناء الرحلة.
10. القانون الواجب التطبيق
تخضع هذه الشروط لقوانين دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة.
